The Duke and Duchess of Windsor received an ojiginal Christmas gift from the Cannes Aviation Club, which is a most exclusive organisation. It eonsisted of the elub's badge exeeuted in gold and silver, which the president presented on a cushion with violets and wattle forming the colours of the City of Cannes.
