NEW AEROPLANE

Latest Percival Machine SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATION LONDON, Dec. 15. The successful Sydney aeroplane designer, Captain Percival, has entered the cominercial field with a six-seater machine. He gave a successful demonstration of it to-day. The new tpye,

known as the Percival Q6, is a lowwing monoplane, with two Gipsy cngines of 205 h.p. each. It has vari-able-pitch propellors, and retractable undercarriage, if required. Top speed is 195 miles per hour and cruising speed 186 at 7000 feet. The range is 750 miles. Two machines of the new type will arrive in Sydney in February. Captain Percival's faetory is the only one in Britain working to full capacity on its own machines, and is unable to accept Air Force orders.
