Scotland Yard's Warning LONDON, Dec. 15. Scotland Yard has issued a public warning against pickpockets, who are gleaning a rich harvest from shoppers thronging the streets and crowding the tubes and buses during the Christmas period. Lisbs of the favourite tricks of pickpockets have been published in order to protect the public. A tube passenger whose wallet was stolen felt and saw nothing. The only impression he had was that of a neighbour with a newspaper in front of him, which he held with both hands.
