PRISON PLOT ALLEGED

Extortion from Singers FAKING OF PHOTOGRAPHS NEW YORE, Dec. 12. A meesage from Bismarck, North Dakota, says a plot to extort money from well-known opera singers by means of faked obscene photographs was alleged in a court case to-day. The opera singers were Lily Pons, Luerezia Bori, Rosa Ponselle and Carmela Ponselle. Charges of eonspiracy were made against four men. The district attorney said the ploiti had been worked ont in North Dakota State prison between two convicts — namely, Theo'dore LaTsen, who was head of the finger print and photo-., graphic departments, and Erank Eowler. They worked in collaboration with a prison guard, George Schultz, and an alleged dealer in indecent pictures, George Koteros. The attorney added that Larsen hau arranged to superimpose lewd scenes on photographs of the victims.
