Fan- American Airways have announced tbat tbe Samoan Clipper is taking off for Auckland at dawn on Thursday from Pearl Harbour (Hawaii) via Kingman reef and Pago Pago and sbould arrive on Christmas Day. Captain Musick will be in? command. A Department of Commerce representative will be aboard tbe Clinner to inaugurate tbe commercial service. Tbe clipper may leave Auckland on Deeember 29. t Tbe carrying of mail and an express passenger service will be started as eoon as tbe schedules and condition's can be determined.
