H.B. Centre Nominee The Gisborne swimmer, S. Y. Dodgshun, will represent the Hawke'e Bay swimming centre at the New Zealand championships in New Plymouth on January 8. 10, a,»d 11, according to advi.ee repeived froni the centre by the secretary of the Gisbprne Anjateur Surf and Swimming Club, Miss H. McKnight. It will be remembered that Dodgshun 's nominatipn went forward as a possible raember of the team to swim at the Empire Games. At the championships the Gisborne swimmer will take ph?t in the 100yds. and 220yds. events.
