MUNICIPAL THEATRE
"BEHIND THE MIKE" AND "FUGITIVE SHERRIFF" * In "Behind the Mike", which screens at the Municipal Theatre to-night William Gargan is seen as a programme producer who lets his temper fly away with him. Finally it flies away with his New York big time job. He and Don Wilson try to revive a rundown radio station and project themselves smack into the center of a smalltown politieal squabble. "Behind the Mike" is a comedy of radio errors that will keep you chuckling from the first moment when Gargan runs into Judith Barrett's quick, wityy retorts until the climax when she runs into his arms. There is smooth skullduggery on the part* of the rival station owner who is helping to elect a crooked mayor.
