COSY THEATRE
"THE LADY FIGHTS BACK." "The Lady Fights Back" screens fmally to-night at the 8 o'clock session/ at the Cosy Theatre. At a special 10.30 session, "Qver She Goes," a musical comedy film with wit and ingenuity starring Britain's favourite comedy team, Stanley Lupino and I/addie Clifl, screens at the Uosy Theatre to-night. "Over She Goes" is its title and it certainly goes over all the tiine. It contains snappy tunes, gorgeous glrls and a story packed with bright situa-tion-s and gags. Adapted from Stanley Lupino 's record-breaking stage success it tells of the adventures of Tommy, Billy and llarry, tFree ex-inembers of a vaudeville act, when Harry bocomes a peer on the presumed death of his uncle. Lord Drewsden, and is pursued by a title -hunting ex-flame. To outwit the damsel the ingenious Tommy (played by Stanley Lupino, of course) poses as Harry 's uncle, mysteiiously returned from the jungle in which he is supposed to have died, hoping to make the gold-digger believe that there is no title or inheritance to share. One of the most interesting featurea oi' the film is the casting of Max Baer, the famous Ameriean boxer, as a tough "he-man" from the wide open spaces wlio is Stanley Lupino 's rival for the affections of vivacious Gina Malo. "Maxie" is in his element in this part and has some screamingly funny scenes with Stanley Lupino and Laddie Clifx
