"Lost Horizon," America's greatest contribution to the screen, produced by the ace director, Frank Capra, will screen at the Waipukurau Theatre tonight, Christmas Eve. • Roiand Oolman has been seen in many great "produetions, but never itf his great career has he been seen -in such an absorbing rolej but his is only one of rn'iny outstanding characterisations. Briefly ^he story of "Lost Horizon" concerns five persons who are kidnapped in an aeroplane in China and are flown deep into the heart of forbidden Tibet to the lamesery of Shangri-La. Her closeted securely by niountains inxpenetrable to the uninitiated, is a setting of indescribable beauty and serenity, peopled by the members of the strangest cult of modern times. Romance and adventure fall to, the bewildered kidnap victims and soon all but one surrender to tue utter contentment and rare loveliness that is Sban-gri-La.
