SWANSEA, Dec. 1. Twelve-year-old Vivian James was told by the doetors: "You '11 never walk again." But Vivian determined to beat the hip disease which made him wear an iron hip-and-back frame. In secret he began a courae of exercises. Altliough every movement was agony, he foreed himself to hobble. Time after time he i'ell, bruising himself. But he kept on. Learned to wally tlieu run. And this week A'ivian ,7ames> now 16, won the pole vault and high juinp in an all-Wales competition.
