These views of the coastline between Cape Kidnapjpers and Ocean Beach were taken by Mr H. Lambert, of Hastings, 30 years ago. ABOVE, the boiler of the wrecked steamer Go Ahead is seen at the end of a reef of rocks with a man standing on it. The boiler has since been shifted and smashed by wave action. BELOW, one of the try-pots used by an oldtime whaling station situated near the Cape. When this photograph was taken 30 years ago the pot constituted part of a seaside camp, the timber used for a table" and tentridge being seen in the foreground.
