Area in Queen Street An important property sale has been effected during the past few days, and as a result the last remaining vacant section in the business portion of Queen street will shortly be built upon, The area in question is between Karamu road and Russell street, and in the early days of Hastings was used as a stable. Up to the time of the earthquake it was occupied by a large shed, used for various purposes, mainly storage, but since the earthquake it has been cleared of the debris and allowed to be vacant.
