BLENHEIM, Last Night. Overcrowding of the Palace Theatre last Saturday night led to the appearance in the Magistrate's Court of S. Andrews, manager of the theatre, on a charge of allowing persons other than emplovees to remain sitting in the aisles contrary to the borough by-Iaws. A plea of guilty was entered and Mr. Maunsell, S.M. imposed a fine of £2. The borough solieitor mentioned that two letters of warning had been sent te a previous manager. The Magistrate said the practice was dangerous. It was part of the essential duty of the theatre management to see that the theatre wai kepfc free from [obatructioa.
