In a xeport of a recent assault case published in the Herald-Tribune, it was made to appear that the defendant> William Giddens, was annoyed because the plaintiff in the action had employed a Flock House boy in preference to Giddens 's son. We have been asked to make it clear, however, that this was not the point in dispute, defendanthaving never asked the plaintiff to employ his son.
