Small Entry Sells at Late Rates

PALMERSTON N., This Day. The final live-stock sale in Feilding of the old year was held yesterday (vhen a small entry was disposed of at late rates. In the fat sheep section there were three pens of new season 's lambs which were sold under the hammer at satisfactory rates according to quality. Fat 2-ths were firm at late rates but there .was a slight easing of values for ewe mutton. ! Prices for fat cattle also marked a 'slight easing although the stock yarded Was not prime. Fat lambs sold at 22s, 27s 6d and 28s; fat 2-ths realised 22s, 23s lld, 24s 2d, 24s 5d to 27s 9d for a pen of eighi woolly sheep.
