REMINDERS
The offiees and stores of the Hawke's Bay AVoolbrokers' Association will be closed on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, December 25, 27/ and 28, and on January 1, 3 and 4, for the Christmas aud New Year holidays. A free bus will leave Westerman's oorner at 7.45 on Boxing night, for the flaimel dance to be held in the Village Hall, Haumoana. Tenders closing at the ofiices of Messrs Davies and Phillips, arehitects, Hastings, on Tuesday, January 11, 1938, are invited for tho erection of a twostorey block of buildings at Waipukurau for Messrs de Pelicket, McLeod and Co., Ltd. A reminder is given that the annual general meeting of the Hawke's Bay Permanent- Building and Investment Society will be held to-morrow, Thursday, at 4.o0 p.m.
