HEAVY RAIL TRAFFIC

Large Number of Bookings at Hastings Thougfh the pa'tronage accorded this morning's southbound mail train was not up to that given the trains earlier in the week, it is obvlous that there will be heavy passenger traffic on tne Napier- Wellington line during the holiday period. To-morrow morning there will be an extra express introduced to the schedule, and already this has been partly booked-up. The ordinary mail train has been completely book&d-out. Northbound trains so far this week have been well patronised, indicating that Hawke's Bay is to receive its fair share of visitors, as well as contributing to the visiting portion of the community in other centrea.
