HARBOUR BOARD DINNER

At the conclusion of the business at this week's meeting of the Napier Harbour Board, the chairmant Mr T. M. Geddis, extended Christmas greetings to members and executive officials of the board and to representatives of the Press. These wero heartily reeiprocated by Mr B. McLean on behalf of the ntembers of the board, by Mr V. E. Sanders, secretary, and by a Press r«>presentative, Those present were afterwards the guests of Mr Geddis at luncheon at the Masonic Hotel. _Mr Geddis expressed the hope that a similar luncheon at Christmas next year would take place on the Bangitata while lying^in her berth at No. 3 wharf. Mr Geddis 's nealth was enthusiastically toasted.
