Man Killed by Train

OHEISTCHUEOH, Last Ni^ht. Struck by a train on a level crossing at Addington this morning, James Stringfellow, aged 72 years, married, of Clarence street, Addington, was killed instantaneously, his body being mangled under the wheels of the engine. The engine had not left the Addington station and was gaining speed at the Alliance road crossing, when Mr Stringfellow walked on to the line in front of the engine. Apparently he was unaware of the approaeh of the train.
