"LOST HORIZON," TO-MORROW AND FRIDAY. "Lost Horizon," America's greatest contribution to the screen, produced by the ace director, Frank Capra, wlll screen at the Waipukurau Theatre tomorrow, Thursday, at 8, and on Friday at 2.30 and 8 p.m. Roland Colman has been seen in many great productions, but never in his great career has he been seen in such an absorbing role, but his is only one of many outstanding characterisations. Others in the cast are H. B. Warner,Edward Everett Horton, Jane Wyatt, Margo and Thomas Mitchell. Clear-cut through all is the hand of its great produeing genius Frank Capra, who made "Mr Deeds Comes to Town," "Lady for a Day," "It Happened One Night" and other renowned pieture-plays. Briefiy the story of "Lost . Horizon" concerns five persons who are kidnapped in an aeroplane in China and are flown deep into the heart of forbidden Tibet to the lamesery of Shangri-La. Her closeted securely by inountains impenetrable to the uninitiated, is a setting of indescribable beauty and serenity, peopled by the members of the strangest cult of modern times. Romance and adventure fall to the bewildered kidnap victims and soon all but one surrendel- to tne utter contentment and rare loveliness that is Slian-gri-La. Early reeervation is advised.
