MAKE YOUR ICE-CREAM BY THESE RECIPES
Several fortunate people have lately invested in refrigerators, and two or three of these have asked for ice-eream recipes, which have been very kindly supplied by a reader who makes excel- ! lent ice-cream. She has given two rei cipes just slightly different and sugj gests that readers try one of them and j then add more or less sugar and cream according to their own tastes, experi- | menting until they find the mixture | which they like best. For the first recipe take two cups of cream and whip this with 2 tablespoonfuls of eugar. Dirop in one or 2 eggs, j and whip again. Flavour and fre'eze, j stirring two or three times during tho lirst hour. | For the second recipe take two cups of cream and whip up with the 2 tablespoonfuls of sugar and 2 eggs and add very gradually 1$ cups of milk to make a fairly thick mixture. This makee a less creamy mixture which some' people prefer and is also more economical. I Loganberries, strawberries or raspI berries may be squashed up and added, but these require more sngar in tlio mixture according to the tartness oF the berries.
