Valuable Library
"ARGYLE."
Siiy — To those reviewing the lives of Napoleon Bonaparte, his brothers and people of their day^ I would recoinmend to their notice the information regardiug Napoleon Bonaparte eontained in tlie Encyclopaedia in the Napier Public Library. No doubt the libraries all over New Zealand have the same Encyclopaedia or equally valuable books of reference. How greatly indebted we are to Carnegie for his free libraries and public , reading rooms. Reference is made in this Encyclopaedia to Westphalia with which* Napoleon was associated. Another valuable series of books are Bagster's Universal History and many facts regarding Napoleon 's career cqn be gleaned from one of these volumes. Historical facts in so many papers all over the world have awakened the interest of the reading public and I have niuch pleasure in recommending tliese to public notice. — Yours, etc..
