He was arrested yesterday at Hastings and appehred in the Court on a charge of indecently assaulting a fe.male at Auckland. On the application of Senior-Sergeant G. Sivyer, he was remanded to appear to-day at Auckland. Hendry is 61 years of age, 5ft. lOin. in height, and dressed in a light grey suit. He has grey hair and yees, a silver moustache, and is deaf.
