GISBOENE, Last Night. ' The cheese factory at Toatoa, about 2Q miles from Opotiki, on the Motu- j Opotiki road, was burnt to the ground J at about 11 p.m. on Saturday. The ; buildiitg, plant, stoclcs of manufacthred , ch'eese, ahd a quantity of Tnanufaorriv- j ing materials were a total loss. ; The manager's residence, nearby, oecupied by Mr. M. Lloyd, was saved, as was also the Eost Office, a small structure.
