Meeting of Waimarama Branch At. a" ineeting- of the Waimarama branch oi the Ivew Zealand Farme ' Union held recently at Craggy Range, the ehairman, Mr. R. K. Campbell, presided over a good attendance of members. The following remit was passed for consideration by the provincial executive: — "That the Hawke's Bay County Council be requested to instruct roadmen to be more careful in burning along the roads, as in many cases adjoining fences have been damaged." Mr. J. W. Palmer, Instructor of the Agricultural Department, delivered an interesting address on "Grasses and their Identification," for which he received a hearty vote of thanks.
