HAVELOCK FIRE BRIGADE MEETING
At the December meeting of the Havelock North Fire Brigade, Superintendent . Toop presided over a full muster of members. Accounts to the amount of £15 10/3 were passed for payment. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr Clapperton and thank him for painting the interior of the fire station. After t • i usual business was dealt with Superintendnet Toop, on behalf of the bridage, expressed his and the brigade's appreciation of the work done by Freman A. Treneman and received with regret his resY na..n from the brigade. He was presented with a handsome chiming clock. Deputy-Superintendent Marvin endorsed the remarks of . the previous npeaker.
