MR. 'AUGUSTUS F. FOOT

WELLINGTON, This Day. The death occurred at Wellington of Augustus Francis Foot, a retired bank manager and prominent member of the Wellington Bowling Club, aged 61. The late Mr Foot was manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Waipukurau until about four years ago, when he retired and went to Wellington to live. Earlier he had been manager for the bank at Takapau until the outbreak of the Great War. From Takapau he went to Cromwell and he had also been stationed at Feilding, Wellington and Woodville. He was born at Greymouth, where his father was a solicitor. Mr Foot took up his position in Waipukurau about nine years ago. He had been an acti.ve member of the Wood.ville Chamber of Commerce, but after going to Waipukurau he took no active part in public 3ife. He was a prominent bowler. He was a quiet and unagisuming man, and was very well liked.
