CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. A.t a meeting of the New Zealand. Trotting AssoCiation held on Friday evening, an appeal against the deeision of the New Brighton Trotting Olub's stewards in disqualifying De Soto and his owner, O. Johnston, and his driver, J. Pringle, for three months, was considered. In view of additional evidence that was provided, it was decided under rule 77 to refer the case back to the New Brighton Trotting Club. It was also deeided, under rule 387 to remove the disability in connection with Racketeer, which is owned by C. Johnston, but is being raced by A. Chinnery. Until the disqualification is removed De Soto will not be able to race.
