Alight Not made the early- runnlng, but Yalbeau took charge passing the half-mile followed by Might Not, J'ocular and Lord Bine. Yalbeau was still leading witli a furlong to go, but Ramdin tinished best to beat him ,by one and a-quarter lengths. Salvolatile. was a length furtlier away third. Silver Standard, having his ilrst race sjncfc November, was always in the bunck, and finished last. The time was 1.351, which is ecjual to the A.ustralasian record. DECEMBER NURSERY. Won by three lengths, third back three-quarters of a length. Time. 1.36$. Capaneus and Silver Coat were unplaced in the hurdle race. The Squire, the* Iliad colt, Glaucus, and the Iliad filly, Litigation, were unplaced in the December Nurscry Handicap. Kowtow, Lion Hunt, Br«nze Tulip and Pantan were unplaeed in the first division of the Novice Handicap, in which one of the worst smaehes seen at Randwick occurred, five horses, including Bronze Tulip, falling. Sweet Brigade was killed and Glenman was iniured and had to be destrovod. Three iockeys were sent to hosnital, none, however,- in a serious condition. Ili.s-sus was unnlqced in the second division of the Novice Handicap.
