VISITING AUSTRALIA

Many New Zealanders will be crossing the Tasman for tbe British Empire Games and 150th anniversary celebrations at oyduey early next year. .A series of personally conducted tours in eonnection witb the celebrations is being organised by Mr W. J. Ilesleburst, well known for his uctivities in promotiug inter-colonial tourist traffic. Tbe first of Mr Hesleliurst's tours will leave on December 21 to visit New youth Wales and Victoria over Christuias and tbe New Year. Already tbis tour is heavily booked. It will bc followed, bowever, by a British Empire Games aud country molor tour tlirougli New youth Wales. The tour will last from February 1 to Mareb 1. Special features of this tour will be the naval parade through tbe yydney streets prior to tbe opening of tbe Empire Games, the games themselves, visits to yydney's famous batliing beaches, a tour of Sydney Harbour, visits to the Blue Mountains and the Jenolan Caves. Another most interesting tour will include tbe Royal Easter Show at Sydney and the Sydney Cup race meeting, and the horse parado at tbe show, expected to be one of the greatest equine oeeasions yet to take place in Anstralia.
