TIMARU, Last Night. The official Tepoxt of the South Canterbury Woolbrokers5 Association states tbat there was a total offering of 14,589 bales. A feature of tbe sale was the keen competition from- local mills and Continental buyers. Values generally exceedecf tbe most sanguine expectations, and as a result tbe passings were practicallv negligible, an almost complete clearance being effected.
