Distrihution of Presents to Servants ROYAL FAMILY'S PLANS
("Eeceived 18, 12.30 p.m."* RUGBY, Doc. 17. The King and Queen, together with Queen Mary, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and their children, and other members of the Eoyal Family, will spend a quiet Christmas at Sandringham. They will leave London next Wednesday, and the Queen will spend the remainder of the time in the distribution of presents to the many villagers and tenants of the Eoyal estates. On Christmas Eve servants and villagers will attend a party at Sandringham House at which presents will be distributed from a giant Christmas tree by the King and Queen. After luncheon on Christmas Day, the King will go to his study to broadcast his Christmas message to the British Empire.
