LOYALISTS ATTACK.

Effort to Thwart Spanish Rebels' Plans LONDON, Dec. 15. A Teport from Madrid states that the Eepublicans, in an effort to upset the plans of the insurgents for an offensive, carried out an offensive south of Aragon, driving through a snowstorm against the rebel salient at Teruel and also pressing Teruel city. The Eepublicans also shelled insurgent concentrations near Madrid. The insurgents retaliated by shelling the centre of the city. The Salamanca correspondent of The Times states a serious outbreak of typhoid is reported in the Eepublican forces on the Aragon front. The.sufferers have been withdrawn to the Lerida hospital. Skin and blood diseases are also believed to be widespread, due to the privation and inadequate clothing.
