Napier High School Facilitie? The boarding accommodation at tho Napier Boys' and Girls' High Schoois is, beyond doubt, excellent. Any patents wlio desire to givo their children b sound and thorougk education could not do better than enrol them at one or other of these schoois. Both being situated close to the sea, and enjoying the climate such as Napier is noted for, everytking points to a happy school life for the child. Scinde House, the boarding department of the Boys' School, is under the control of the Board of Governors, and lo managed by the prineipal and ku wife, with the assistance of two resident masters and a very capable do mestic staff. Accommodation for at least 30 boarders is available. New wooden dormitories of the open-air type, which have proved so satisfactory at other boarding schoois, have now been erected^ and are equipped with every modern convenience. The hostel is also provided with the latest radio service. Regarding the Girls' School, plans have now been completed and approv-
ed by the Government for the first por tio n of a new hostel to replace the building destroyed in the 1931 earth | quake. It is expected that a commence- j ment will be made with the erection , of Mio building in 1938. However, suf licient and comfortable accommodation > has been made available for a limited 1 nnmber of boarders, and parents wisci ing to secure a place for their child : ren should do H it any early date.— P.B ./ J
