Viewed from the Napier-Taupo road, particularly during a period of rainy weather, the Waipunga Falls, as they cascade down the hillside in the distance, make a delightful picture. The Automobile Association (Hawke's Bay) has erected a signpost on the road at the point at which the falls may best be seen, and motorists traversing the road should pause awhile and take advantage of the opportunity of seeing a unique sight.
