Borough Revenue Rises The number of vehicular licences, and tho revenue therefrom continues to ghpw increasea, according to the monthly report of the Borough Traffie Inspector, Mr D. Mann, presented to the Hastings Boroug Couneil at last night's meeting. There is an increase of 295 in the number of drivers' licences issued so far this financial year, as against that fpr the saine period last year, while heavy trafihc licences have increased by 126, The increased revenue from these two sources alone amounts to just over ^678. The following are the flgures supplied for the periods under review: —

Last moth 35 applicants for drivers' licences were tested and five failed. To date 246 tests have been carried out, an increase of 45 on that of the same period last year. There were 13 proseeutions last month, fines totalling £11 15/-.
