TO BREAK UP LEAGUE

Tlie Paris correspondent of the Times says:^ — "Germany's jubilant approval of Italy's departure from the League lias created the deiinite impression that Berlin and Bome are planning a vigorous diplomatic campaign to break up the League. ' ' The Soeialist newspaper Populaire believes that the efforts of Italian and German diplomacy will be directed at detaching iirst Austria and Hungary, then Yugoslavia and Poland, from the League, which, it. says, would be tauta'juount to tbe League 's collapse.
