Accuracy and detail are the features which have made Stone 's Directory an indispensable portion of the library of every public office and institution in the country. For 47 yeare the directory, each year thoroughly revised and improved, has been enhancing its reputation as a text-book of the business world, and the 1937-38 issue contains j once more additional features presented I in a most adequately-classifled form. Ever since the llrst issue of the directory was printed, its publishers I have adopted a policy of progress and excellent as each issue has been) the Bucceeding one has been found to be not only more up-to-date, as would be expected, but with improved lay-out and the addition of several new featiures, a publication that is far more than a directory, in the usual sense of the term. In this year's issue now features are once again prominent, and the old features have been enhanced and amplified in various ways. Stone 's Directory is synonymous with accuracy, every particle of the information between its covers being reliable. It is not so much an asset to the busincssman and farmer, but a sheer necessity. The new issue is for 1937-38, and copies may be obtained from Messrs Stone and Co., Anzac Square^ Dunedin, or 6 GhuzneJi street, Wellington, or 'from any bookseller.
