DULL SELLING FOR FAT SHEEP

( sheep met with dull selling at Stortford Lodge to-day, when the market was surprisingly quiet for the small entry made. . Lat ewes brought to 18/3 and a good line from* Pukekura, which would kill out at about 65 Ibs., brought only 17/6. Lighter ewes were down to 16/-. No wethers were penned. Lambs brought 22/- to 25/3 and a line of Leicesters, averaging 30 lbs., sold at 23/6. Competition was very limited owing to several of the butclicrs being content to be onlookers, although the yarding was below normal requirements.
