"FAREWELL AGAIN." Based on a real news paragraph, "Farwell Again," which screens at the Cosy Theatre to-night, is one of the most unusual films ever produced. Tbe paragraph related to an English troopship bringing back to Southampton a regiment returning from years of foreign service. As the ship neared England it wa lecrned that an emergency made it necessary to re-embark immediately. For six hours only, the

troops were allowed leave at Southampton and the picture deals with the reactions of this news and the behaviour of various men and. their relations during this period. Most of t. action takes place on the troopship Somersetshire, the Colonel, and his wife who is desperately ill, the handsome Captain Keed who, despite a fiancee at home, falls for the prettiest nurse who has ever seen troopship service. It tells you about the comical Bugler, self-confessed bachelor whose wife waits at Southampton with a grim sentence f )r -r devil-may-care spouse, of jealouBy-torn Carter. y And many others, whose private lives you are soon to enjoy. A epecial feature of the supporting programme is the screening of the five Walt Disney Mickey Mouse-Silly Symphony cartoons which gained the premier awards of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. These are a show in themselves, and, coiubined with the screening of "Farewell Again," make a programme of unprecedented merit. These five cartoons, from the year 1931 onwards give a clear illustration of the advances that have been made in cartoon technique, and provide an outstanding attraction.
