SYDhfeY, Dec. 13. At the wool saies 8191 bales were offered and 754.0 sold, also 1284 privately. The keenest competition came from the Continent, Yorkshire and Japan. The market was fully 5 per cent. above the closing rates of last week for all except faulty descriptions. Crosshreds also shared in the advance. Gfeasy Merino made 26d. The average price last week was £16 2s 8d per balo, or 13.4d per lb.
