SMALL YARDING
Cattle Principally Penneji at Waipukurau VALUES STEADY Another small yarding of stock waj made at Waipukurau to-day, when stori cattle were the chief offering. No grown cattle were offered but a good inquiry was shown for two lines of well-grown yearlings, in goo.d condition, which brought to £6 7/6. Several of the tail-end pens were miscellaneous mixed-bred and Jersey sorts, which made satisfactory saies. The fat cattle penned were chiefly medium sorts, while the bullocks . appeared to be well flushed with grass. The selling of these was slow, due to the limited compeSition shown. Values showed little change with those in these yards last week, but were well below those at Stortford Lodge last week. The sheep pens were deserted, there being only one line of stores yarded and a few sfball pens of fats. Values for cattle wero realiseo m under: — FAT CATTLE, On account of Mr. A. W.
