SCOUT HUT FUND

» wm - — — — - £150 Still to be Raised A full meeting of the Boy Scout Hut Building Committee was held last evening, Mr C. G. Wilkinson occupying the chair. It was reported that the fund had now reached £475 leaving a further £150 to be collected. The committee view with deep appreciation the generous support accorded to the building scheme by the business people and the townspeople generally, and, in justice to the shopkeepers, and to avoid any liindrance to Cliristmas trade it has decided that no further- canvass will be made until the end of January. In the meantime, however, the treasurers, Messrs Rainbow and Hobbs, will be pleased to receive any promisecl donations or voluntary subscriptions to the fund.
