TRAFFIC OFFENCES
Napier Court Cases Prosecuted by Mr J. H. R. Semple, Transport Department Traffic lnspector, for specding along Gloucester street, Taradale, on November 13, Mr8 E. C. McLean, of Waipukurau, was convicted and fined £l and 10/ -costs, by Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate 's Court yesterday. H. V. Stewart, for a similar offence was similarly dealt with. Frederick John Annan, taxi proprietor was fined £2 with costs 10/-, for driving in Milton road on November 23 in a manner which might have been dangerous to the publ'ic. John William Foster, for driving a vehicle in respect of which the warrant of fitness had not been renewed, was fined 5/- with costs 10/-. Ludley William Russell, a baker, for failure to give way at an interseetion was fined j£l and costs 10/-.
