Meeting of Wallingford Branch

PORANGAHAU, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Wallingford branch of the National Party was held on Friday. « The officers elected for the year were as follow: — Chairman, Mr R. P. Wilder; secretary^ Mr J. R. Byrne. delegates to electoral committee, Messrs R- PWilder., J. R. Byrne, T. P. Hunter, and Mrs J. McNutt. Mr Wilder explained the methods of electing delegates for the electbfhl meeting, and added that only financial niembers would be allowed to vote. The chairman introduced_ Mr Kelly, the representative on the N.Z. Council of the National Party, who gave a very intere'stiug address. At the' conclusion of the tneeting a motion was passed espressing the members' gi-atitude to the party leader and his followers in the House of Representatives.
