Chinese Will Fight to Bitter End

AUCKLAND, This Pay. "Many people bolieve that when Nanking falls into the hands of tho Japanese the Chinese will be beaten, Such is not the ca«e, as the Chinese a"« determined to fight to the bitter end," said Kwan Che-chan, a 20-ycar-old Chinese student, who is a passenger on the Monterey on his way to Columbia, New' York, to study dnternational law.
