The manager of the South African Empire Games team advised by radio that the Transvaal wrestler Nel stowedaway aboard the Ascauius, By arrangemeut with the Minister of the Interior, his tara vvas paid. Net will probably be made an offieial member of the team, Nel ranked fifth, but only four representatives were selected. When he failed he said he would work his passage, and he obtained three months' leave.
