Lightning Damages Plane RUGBY: A hail storm which was accompanied by lightning forced down the Imperial Airways liner Horatius on its flight from Paris to Croydon. The liner landed at Lympne, where inspeetion revealed that a flash had burned a two-foot rent in one wing. The passengers, who included Miss Ellen Wilkinson, M.P., continued their journey to London by train. — British Official Wireless. Prohibition in India LUCKNOW: Two million more Indians will "go dry" as a result of total prohibition which will be enforced in. six United Province districts as an experimental measure. Steps in the direction of a dry India as visualised by Mahatma Gandhi have already been taken at Ahmedabad, where no liquor is to be sold to Indians after April 1, 1938. Prohibition is also enforced in the Salem district in the Madras Presideney. It is expected uiat similar measures will gradually be introduced elsewhere.
