KAIWAKA DEFEATS ESKDALE
In a cricket match between the Kaiwaka and Eskdale clubs played at Kaiwaka, the home team won by 57 runs. Eskdale made 78 (C. Smith 28, Williams not out 18). White and Bee divided the wickets for Kaiwaka, the former taking two for 12, and Bee six for 18. Kaiwaka 's total was 135 (Boland 61, Sigvertsen 41). M. Smith two for 32, Cullwiek three for 26, J. Smith two for 1 12, were the bowlers for Eskdale.
