CLERK'S REPORT
The grading of all roads in the Havelock Nortk Town Board's area, and the metalling of Te Aute, Joll, and Campbell roads and St. Hill's Lane( was dompleted during the past month, ■ accordihg to the report made at the monthly meeting of the board ' last evening by the clerk, Mr W. H. Anderson. The report was adopted. During the moto.th 4,430^600 gallons Wero Jmmped, and 4)421,000 gallons Consumed. Three new connections were made td the supply. "All sepfic tanks are funetioning satisfaetorily," the report states. "TWo new connections were niade td the system, "The sanitary inspector reports that Ho case of infectious di^sease has been notified since August, 1936. "The interiof- of the fire statioii ha8 heen given two coats of paint, This Work was doUe in Conjunetion with. the members of the brigade. ' ' The ornainental trees in the Domain are still malring excellent progress, and the whole plantation is now definitely established. The playing field is in tiptop order. Scything has been done on the Town Board section of the ground and a fire break has been cut along the whole length of ihe plantiilioii. ' '
